Every time I look at this photo:
Cooper looks like a ventriloquist's "dummy" / doll. We took these on Thanksgiving. Yes, my boys are wearing matching RL rugbys. I will do this until they are old enough to resist and understand that I do not have girls to dress and doll up. Gotta get it out somehow.
A special thank you to my sister Riri (who works for the Preppy King - RL). She clothes them for the special occasions and I love that we are able to get them matching shirts.
I think the expressions on their faces say it all!! I honestly can't stop laughing when I look at this photo!!! Oh, have you noticed how big Cooper is now? 6 months old....my how time does fly!!
Have a glorious day....Welcome December!!!

Bubble & Bee Organic!

Ok, this company definitely puts the fun back into skincare! Bubble & Bee Organic creates all natural organic products that sound as yummy as they look!!
If you are a regular reader you will know that I seriously suffer with dry skin. I was dying to get my hands on one of their lotion sticks. Yup, you read that right. Lotion in a stick - it is nothing short of genius!!
Here is what they graciously sent me to try out:
Coconut Lime lotion stick....oh it is heavenly!! The scent alone. I wanted to eat it. It actually made me hungry and then I craved a margarita!!
Ok, so I love the whole concept. Lotion that is totally portable and no mess. No mess in my purse or dripping on my hands. You twist the stick and apply. I loved it for my elbows and my knees. It was super easy to use and smelled so good. I even used it on my hands, which I hardly ever do with scented lotions. It didn't bother me at all.
It had a nice texture, like a soft wax that melted instantly and left me feeling soft. I kept applying it just for the smell, which is a really clean smell not too sweet or over powering, think subtle.
So this stick now lives in my purse and is one of my beauty staples.
These awesome lotion sticks come in other yummy scents like Raspberry, Sunflower, Lavender Orange Blossom, and Chai Latte.
I think these make excellent stocking stuffers and they are so reasonably priced!
Bubble & Bee Organic have an entire line of yummy products so be sure to visit
www.bubbleandbee.com to browse or place your order today.

No Monkey Business this Thanksgiving – with bibs from Polkadot Patch Boutique
My friends at The Polkadotpatch Boutique have done it again!!
Well, I received this little cutie to try out:

I am definitely a fan of snaps because my son pulls on the bibs and some of the velcro ones pull off because they weaken in the laundry. This bib stayed put and held up well in the wash. No shrinkage. Overall, a great product. We love it!

Skin MD Review and Giveaway!!
With the cooler weather upon us my skin is definitely starting to show signs of "winter dryness". I so dread this time of year because I really suffer with dry/cracked hands and flaky skin. Even more so this year with flu scares and constant hand washing! My older son was diagnosed with Eczema when he was two so we are always super cautious this time of year. Any change in weather seems to spark a flare up.
I was really excited when the people from Skin MD contacted me and asked if I would be interested in trying out their product and reviewing it for all of you.
First off, you should know that Skin MD contains natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Arnica Montana, Chamomile and Vitamin E. All good stuff that naturally helps heal and protect your skin.
Skin MD is a shielding lotion, so it binds to the skin to form an "invisible" shield - like a protective glove.
Here's some info that you should know about:
"Skin MD Natural uses only the finest natural ingredients, and is focused on urging the skin to be active, and to use its own moisture to effectively heal itself. It is not oily or sticky, doesn't sit on top of your skin leaving a greasy residue on everything you touch, it doesn't rub or wash off easily, is hypoallergenic, fragrance, colorant and paraben free and dermatology tested".

So, what did we think??
I couldn't wait to try it out on CJ because he is really difficult when it comes to applying lotion. We normally use a really thick over-the-counter cream. We tried it after his bath. The lotion went on super smooth. It is thin and silky in consistency and easily absorbed. It leaves the skin feeling silky and smooth. I am guessing that it is not totally absorbed in order to be "protective".
So the directions say you can apply it initially every 2-8 hours then once every 12-24 hours. We did just once a day to his back because CJ is not fond of being lotioned up ever. CJ's trouble area is his torso so that is the only place we applied it. The lotion is safe to use on your face and hands as well. It worked just fine for us. In fact it actually did make a difference. In a weeks time we noticed his little "bumps", which is the in between stage before a break out (in our case) was significantly diminished. There was no redness what so ever and no itching or scratching. Oh, a little goes a long way. I did not need to apply large amounts at all, which is nice.
I did use it on my hands because I was curious too. I did apply it more often because my hands are always subjected to washing and cleaning so I definitely felt I needed to use it more. I really liked it. I wish my bottle was bigger because I swear I would have applied it to my entire body. It left such a nice silky smoothness and the best part for me was no scent. I really prefer that when its something applied to my hands and when it comes to children I prefer no scent as well.
Want to try it for yourself? You can go to www.skinmdnatural.com and order your own bottle today.
Win it!!! One lucky reader will receive a full size bottle of Skin MD. Just leave me a comment below and make sure you leave a valid e-mail address so I can contact you.
You have until midnight Monday, November 30th to enter. Become a follower and you get an extra entry!
Good Luck!!

Sad Eyes
My poor baby boy has been sick since last week. I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but it started the day after CJ got the H1N1 nasal vaccine.
I know I am paranoid, but my always happy baby is super cranky, hasn't slept in a week and is refusing to eat his solids! This is not the baby I know!!
He is so beyond congested that it took him 45 minutes to drink his bottle last night and he pretty much screamed all night long. He has been running a fever for three days now. What gives??
I was having my morning tea and eating my breakfast and I looked up to his little eyes staring at me. They looked so sad.
Don't worry, I already phoned the doctor. Wish us luck!

Oh Plah!!
No, haven't taken any French lessons lately. But this might be my new favorite phrase!! For those of you who might have been as clueless as me, "Oh Plah!" is French for "Here you go!"
This eco-friendly, stylish bracelet for mom doubles as a fun, safe teether / toy for baby!!
With everyone trying to be as eco-friendly as possible these days, the brilliant people as Roundhouse Design came up with a super chic way for us moms to stay stylish and prepared for any situation. Like being caught on a line in the store with a restless baby. Instead of reaching for those dirty keys hand over that cute bracelet!!
What you should know about Oh Plah:
- Each bracelet is constructed of medical-grade thermoplastic - non-toxic, bacteria resistant, and free of lead latex, PVC, BPA, and phthalates.
- It meets or exceeds safety testing standards.
- No small parts means safe for even the tiniest baby.
- Extremely durable yet flexible, standing up to frequent chewing without looking worn or damaged.
- Easily cleaned with soap and water, and dries quickly so that it can be worn again right away.
- Great as a nursing reminder (switch wrists to remember which side comes next).
- Made in the USA!
Oh Plah! is available in six different colors and styles and retails for $19.99 - $24.99.
Roundhouse Design practices a closed loop cycle with its Full Circle Recycling program so when its time, Roundhouse will even pay to have your Oh Plah! shipped back to have it recycled into new products!!
How did we like it?
Cooper is definitely style conscious. He loved it! I have to admit that I am fond of it myself. Here is the bracelet we were given to try:
Isn't it cute? Well Cooper started in on it right away:I even "tasted" it myself. It really has no taste what-so-ever. There is no plastic smell like lots of the teethers I already own. Overall, I am really pleased with this and it makes me feel good that it is totally safe for him, which is most important. It doesn't hurt that it is totally adorable too!!
You can visit www.roundhousedc.com for more information or to purchase your own.

Sleep
A rarity in our home.
Sleep has become one of the most coveted joys for us.
I never imagined it would be something I cared so much about...
until I had two children who refuse to sleep!
If you have good sleepers cherish those moments!
Ok, I am going to drag myself into the shower now. Have a great day!!
